The Class Gift is a tradition that ushers our graduates into the family of philanthropists whose generosity has made possible the world-class education found at the Tepper School of Business. Graduating students have demonstrated their confidence in the Tepper School by participating in the Class Gift and sending a powerful market signal of the value of the Tepper degree.
Recently, the Master’s in Computational Finance (MSCF) program has also started the tradition of the class gift and, in 2008, essentially tripled their participation and doubled the dollars given or pledged compared to the 2007 MSCF class gift campaign.
While many previous Tepper and MSCF classes have utilized the class gift for items such as furniture and establishing a scholarship fund, this year’s Tepper and MSCF classes are making a difference by allocating the majority of those dollars directly to the Tepper Annual Fund. By doing so, this year’s graduates make a direct impact on every facet of the Tepper School and help give Dean Ken Dunn the resources to increase opportunities for students as well as recruit and retain top faculty.
