W.L. Mellon Society
The W.L. Mellon Society recognizes leadership support of the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon. The Society was started in 1997 to honor the business school's founder, William Larimer Mellon, for his vision and generosity, and also to recognize the generosity of alumni and friends who continue his tradition of philanthropy.
Membership Benefits
- Recognition on our donor board, which is prominently displayed in the business school lobby
- Invitations to special, exclusive events held on campus and across the country
- Communication with Dean Dammon and senior members of the school's administration
- Special recognition in the Tepper School of Business annual donor report
Members of the Tepper School's W.L. Mellon Society also receive membership in Carnegie Mellon's Andrew Carnegie Society (ACS), which includes:
- Subscription to The News, the ACS newsletter
- Recognition in Carnegie Mellon's Annual Donor Report
- Special university mailings and updates
- Donors of $2,500 or more receive an invitation to attend the annual ACS celebration, which is held in Pittsburgh
Membership is renewable annually with a gift of $1,000 or more to the Tepper School.
Within the W.L. Mellon Society, the Tepper School is pleased to recognize members at the following giving levels:
