Frequently Asked Questions

Email Forwarding

Alumni can set up email forwarding using our Alumni Update Service, which is integrated with email forwarding. Our E-Mail Forwarding Service allows you to designate an "alias" for yourself, such as "john_smith". This alias represents a lifetime email address, such as "john_smith@alumni.tepper.cmu.edu". This lifetime email address will automatically forward to your real email address, if you have provided one for the Alumni Database.
