Michael Metzger, CEO, President & Board Member of PayScale Inc., Gary Sender, CFO/VP of Finance & Administration of Tengion Inc., Eric Close, President and CEO of RedZone Robotics, Inc., Mike Farrell (MSIA 2008) and Matt Hawryluk (MSIA 2008) provided an overview of a national perspective on VC investing and discussion on the following topics.

• A recent "entrepreneurial index" for Silicon Valley
