Private Equity and Venture Capital Investment

This distinguished group of venture capital investors will discuss the current state of venture capital investing in the US. The panel will then go on to address a number of topics including: the philosophy and role of their individual firms in driving technology innovation locally, nationally, and internationally; what's "hot" in VC today; the role of Carnegie Mellon University and the Tepper School of Business regarding creation of spin off companies; current programs at the Donald H. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship that are linking "technology hubs" in Boston and Silicon Valley to the Pittsburgh campus.
