
He leans forward, making sure that he has your full attention. "I need something big from you. I need you to start speaking their language, and that's the language of finance. You have to show them how logistics directly impacts the bottom line and enhances shareholder value. I need you to shift the entire perception of Logistics in this company and show them that logistics needs a place at the table." As he stands to leave, he adds: "We do our work in the backroom,but we need a seat in the boardroom as well. I want the guys in the C-suite to see that."
