Recruit an MBA Student

Interviewing at our campus is EASY:

1. First, choose a date and at least two alternate dates by completing the Recruiting Date Request Form, or contact Lynn Urso, our Recruiting Manager, at 412-268-1311. Once your Recruiting Date Request Form is submitted, you will receive a Campus Recruiting Information Form to complete and return.
2. Next, e-mail your job description to Lynn Urso at least six weeks prior to the interview date.

Utilize Symplicity:

By using our recruiting software, Symplicity, you will be able to:

• Search for and contact candidates in on-line resume books or by their skills profile
• View applicants’ resume and cover letters
• Edit your company profile and post jobs
• Make interview candidate selections
• View interview schedules

Symplicity

1. Electronic Job Postings: By completing our job posting form, we can promote opportunities directly to students and/or alumni. Interested candidates apply by being directed either to your website or an email address you provide. If you would prefer to have us post the position for you, please email your job description (s) along with the application instructions and any work authorization restrictions directly to Lynn Urso, Recruiting Manager, at lurso@andrew.cmu.edu.
2. Resume Books and Search: Resume books are located in Symplicity by academic program and functional area. By accessing Symplicity, you may search on-line resume books or student profiles to locate candidates to suit your needs.
3. Alumni Recruiting: In addition to serving its graduate students, the COC provides lifetime services to alumni. If you have career opportunities for experienced professionals, please complete our job posting form online. If you would prefer to have us post the position for you, please email your job description (s) along with the application instructions and any work authorization restrictions directly to Lynn Urso, Recruiting Manager, at lurso@andrew.cmu.edu.  Alumni resume books are located in Symplicity. Alternatively, you may speak with a Career Counselor at (412) 268-2278.

MBA Focus

The Tepper School of Business has partnered with MBA Focus to provide resume books to employers.

POLYCOM Video Conferencing

The Tepper School of Business owns and operates POLYCOM video conferencing equipment. This makes it possible to conduct video conference interviews with students. This may be of particular interest to domestic companies that are facilitating recruiting for international locations. Employers call into either an ISDN or IP call connection. To ensure the highest quality connection, ISDN is the preferred method. We do not charge a fee; however, please clarify the costs involved to dial in through your technical department.
