Tepper School of Business and Carnegie Mellon University provide a variety of resources and services to ensure our students receive a rigorous, productive academic life and a diversity of college life experiences.

Academic Life

  • Academic Development offers students resources to overcome academic difficulties and to improve their performances. The Undergraduate Economics Program highly recommends that all students take advantage of the opportunities and resources provided by Academic Development. Some of the services they offer are: academic counseling, fast facts, job opportunities, peer tutoring, walk-in tutoring, individual tutoring by appointment, and supplemental instruction.
  • Computing Services Help Center is located in Cyert Hall 119 (behind the Mac Cluster). Their phone number is 8-4357 (CMU-HELP). The Help Center can assist with most problems you encounter with your computer.
  • The mission of the Undergraduate Research Office is to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to participate in research. Students from all fiedls and at all levels are encourage to particpate in the research process.
  • The library collections and services that comprise University Libraries are sited in three physical locations on our Pittsburgh campus:  Engineering and Science Library (Wean Hall 4th Floor); Hunt Library; and Mellon Institute Library. Library catalogues, databases, and full-text can be searched on line.
