AMS Payment Plan

A payment alternative is the interest-free 10-month payment plan administered by Academic Management Services (AMS). The AMS Plan, which begins in July, allows students to pay tuition on a monthly basis throughout the year (while enrolled), with no interest charges.

The AMS Plan is not a loan program. There is no credit check and there are no interest or finance charges assessed. The only charge is a $45 annual enrollment fee. The enrollment fee includes a Tuition Protection Coverage, which will cover any remaining balance of your AMS Plan in the event of the death of the bill payer. The AMS interest-free monthly payment plan is available to all enrolled Carnegie Mellon students. For more information, call AMS at 1-800-635-0120. You can find additional information about the plan on the AMS website.
