Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy from Tulane University. Before coming to Tepper, Peter worked in the investment management industry for over four years. He held numerous analytical roles at Capital One Asset Management, and most recently was the Performance Analyst for the entire Private Client division. In addition to his duties as the club’s President, Peter is a Portfolio Manager in the Tepper Opportunity Fund and is a level III candidate in the CFA program. This summer he will be interning at Deutsche Asset Management in New York.

Dan Jester - Vice President of Tepper Opportunity Fund
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of the Rochester. Prior to coming to Tepper he was a U.S. Economist at Moody’s Economy.com, providing original research and market commentary on high-frequency G-7 economic data, interest rates and commodities. He is pursuing concentrations in finance and accounting. In addition to acting as the club’s Vice President, he serves as the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Tepper Opportunity Fund and is the Vice President of Asset Management Mentorship in the Graduate Finance Association. This summer he will be interning at Deutsche Asset Management in New York.

Ken Lam - VP of Communications
Kenneth Lam graduated from University of Waterloo, with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering. He joined TD Asset Management in Toronto to be part of their portfolio analytics team, working closely with active fixed income and equity portfolio managers in facilitating portfolio construction, major portfolio restructuring, and developing quantitative strategies. During his three years with TDAM he completed all three levels of the CFA exams. He came to CMU’s MSCF program to increase his quantitative knowledge of complex derivative products. This summer, Ken will be joining Goldman Sachs in their Sales & Trading summer rotational program. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, ball hockey, squash, and skiing.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from Union College. Upon graduation, he spent 4 years working as a Business Analyst for a boutique software firm providing services to large financial institutions. Steve is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Economics at Tepper. In addition, Steve is an active member of the Tepper Social Committee, the Poker Club, and the Graduate Finance Association. This summer, Steve will be working with Wellington Management, LLP in their Fixed Income Product Management group.

Brad Burke - VP of Resource Management
Brad Burke graduated in 2003 from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Marketing. Before coming to Tepper he was a senior accountant in the Pittsburgh office of Ernst & Young for four years, where he concurrently earned an MS in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. While at Ernst & Young, Brad led teams in completion of financial statement audits. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania. At the Tepper School of Business, Brad is pursuing the Investment Strategy track, which strongly emphasizes the analytical models that underly security valuation. He will be interning in Merrill Lynch's Global Markets group.

Prior to attending Carnegie Mellon University, Yusra worked in the Entertainment and Media industry. She has over five years of experience in Strategic Finance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Consulting and a Minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Yusra is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Economics and Strategy. In addition to these concentrations, she is a Swartz Fellow and enrolled in the entrepreneurship Track. Yusra will be joining Deutsche Bank this summer in their Asset Management division.

Before coming to Tepper, Andy spent over five years in markets and alternative investments. He began his career in the pits of The Chicago Board of Trade. His experience includes open-outcry trading of futures and options in interest rate and grain contracts - including ten-year notes and soy crush spreads. As a screen trader, he has experience in trading and managing customer accounts. Since leaving the CBOT, he has advised fund groups and others on the CTA business. Andy holds a B.S. magna cum laude in finance from The University of Denver. Andy will be joining Deutsche Bank this summer in their Global Markets division.
