
Tim O'Shea – PresidentTim holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College. Before arriving at Tepper, Tim worked as a Research Analyst, performing due diligence on acquisition targets in the solar industry for a Fortune 500 client. Prior to that, he worked as a Regional Sales Manager for a publicly traded technology firm, where he closed over $20 million worth of deals with customers such as Raytheon and Lockheed Martin. In addition to his role as the club's President, Tim is a Senior Analyst for the Tepper Opportunity Fund, and is enrolled in the Investment Strategy Track. He is an avid skier, a crossword addict, and a published writer. This summer he will be interning in the Equity Research department of UBS Investment Bank in New York. |

John Christy, CFA – VP of CommunicationsJohn holds a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University. Before coming to Tepper, he was a financial journalist for more than a decade, holding senior editorial positions at Forbes and Bloomberg News. In addition to his studies, he runs his own editorial and communications consulting practice, working with clients including the Economist Intelligence Unit, Deloitte Consulting, the World Bank and several investment management firms. He is a CFA charterholder. |

Jillian Escobedo – Internal VPJillian holds B.S. degrees in both Finance and Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to Tepper, she worked in the investment industry for two and a half years for the asset servicing sector at Bank of New York Mellon and PNC Financial. She is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Economics, and Accounting, and is enrolled in the Investment Strategy track. |

Eliot Goren – VP of ActivitiesEliot graduated in 2005 from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in finance. Upon graduation, he became the second person in Carnegie Mellon University history to play professional basketball. He played professionally throughout Europe while working as his own agent. Currently at Tepper, Eliot is pursuing the Investment Strategy track. In addition to serving on the board of the Alpha Club, he is the VP of Alumni Relations for the Graduate Finance Association, an Equity Analyst for the Tepper Opportunity Fund, and a Graduate Assistant Coach for Carnegie Mellon’s Men’s Basketball team. He holds a NASD Series 7 license and is a Level I Candidate in the CFA Program. This summer Eliot will be interning at Barclays Wealth in New York. |

Alexander Kirov – VP of ResourcesBefore starting his MBA at the Tepper School of Business, Alexander Kirov studied Economics and Political Science at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany. He gained experience in asset management and in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe from his work for Finasta Investment Management in Vilnius, Lithuania, and from the publication of regular equity research papers focused on the region during his three years in the leadership of the Jacobs University Investment Club. He gained exposure to fixed income while working for Deutsche Bank’s Fixed Income Support Team in Frankfurt and is currently pursuing a specialization in quantitative finance and energy through the Investment Strategy track and additional electives. This summer he will be interning as a Quantitative Analyst with Allegheny Energy. |

Julianne Kortz – TreasurerJulianne holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland – College Park. Prior to coming to Tepper, she spent over three years in asset management with T. Rowe Price in Baltimore where she served as a credit research analyst, responsible for investment grade retail and real estate companies. At Tepper, Julianne is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Economics, as well as the Investment Strategy track. This summer she will be joining Deutsche Asset Management as an intern in their New York office. |

Teodor Tocan – Executive Vice PresidentTeodor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (2001) and Drexel University (2004) in Philadelphia. Most recently, Teodor has served on the Treasury Team of Comcast Corporation. There he supported the treasurer and the CFO in a variety of capital formation activities, including bond offerings (raised over $12Bn), credit line renewals, cash flow modeling, and debt/interest expense analysis. Teodor serves as the Executive Vice-President of the Alpha Club and is a Portfolio Manager in the Tepper Opportunity Fund. He passed the CFA level 3 exam in 2006 and this summer will be interning at Verizon Investment Management Corporation. |
