Prospective Students

Here is a list of things that we encourage for Tepper prospective students:

  • Come visit Tepper. This is one of the best ways to get a first hand experience of Tepper and help figure out if Tepper is a fit for you. It is also looked upon favorably by the admissions staff. Admissions campus visit information
  • Attend Connections Weekend. Each year in October, Tepper hosts minority prospective students for a weekend. The weekend is packed with plenty of information about Tepper and b-school in general. The prospective students have a good opportunity to network with current students, professors and the admissions staff. Link to Connections Weekend site
  • Attend the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) conference. It is a great experience and a number of top MBA schools have booths and representatives there for you to talk to. The 2008 NBMBAA Conference is in Washington, DC on September 17-20. Link to NBMBAA conference
  • Apply through the Consortium. The Consortium for Graduate Studies in Management is an organization that promotes diversity and inclusion in American business. This is a great opportunity to become part of a vast professional network that has connections to many corporations. If you are accepted, then you will be considered for a fellowship that covers full tuition. Link to Consortium
