Speaker Series

One of the highlights of the club’s everyday activities is its ability to bring executive speakers to campus. These speakers discuss a broad range of topics, helping students understand how technology is impacting their day to day functions. The speaker series also provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain insight from industry professionals.

Event: Meet Sharon Nunes, Vice President of Big Green Innovations in IBM Systems & Technology Group (STG)

Description:  Sharon Nunes as Vice President of Big Green Innovations in IBM Systems & Technology Group (STG), is focused on using IBM's information technology expertise as well as IBM's materials & processing expertise to solve critical problems around environmental issues. Sharon will address the students on the topic of environmentalism.
 

Event: Meet Jack Perkowski, Chairman and CEO of ASIMCO Technologies

Description: Mr. Perkowski is on campus to discuss his new book, Managing the Dragon: How I'm Building a Billion Dollar Business in China. Perkowski, who spent twenty years on Wall Street prior to starting ASIMCO Technologies, will also discuss the role the Chinese market will play in the future for Western companies.
