2008 - 2009 Club Board

 

Joshua Swartz - President

Joshua graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Unversity of Cincinnati with a BA in Business Economics. A San Francisco native, Joshua started his own independent consulting firm in the Bay Area in 1997. He built over a decade of industry experience in software development and technology consulting services for such firms as Pearson, Ford Motors, Penguin Publishing, and CIT Group. Upon graduation, Joshua will be joining Booz & Company in New York.

 

Sujit Naik - Vice President

Sujit graduated with BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and worked as a researcher at Sandia National Laboratories. Prior to Tepper, Sujit was a manager in the semiconductor industry leading product development and operations consulting for Micron and Intel over eight years. At Tepper, he has led various programs such as the Pro-bono Consulting Initiative, Tepper Community Outreach and SABA India Trip. Upon graduation, Sujit will be joining Deloitte Consulting, Strategy & Operations practice in the Pittsburgh office.

 

Chris Bell – VP of Corporate Relations

Chris graduated from Georgia Tech in 2004 with a BS in Computer Engineering. Prior to Tepper, Chris was a Senior Sales Representative for the Gordon Flesch Company, before which he was a member of the Information Management Leadership Program at GE Healthcare. At Tepper, Chris is a Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellow and is receiving concentrations in strategy, organizational behavior, and finance. Chris spent his summer at Bain’s Boston office is returning there after graduation.

 

Vishwa Kolla – VP of Career Development

Vishwa graduated with an MS in Computer Science and has had extensive leadership and product development experience in the data storage industry. During his 8 year tenure at Sun Microsystems, Vishwa developed and launched several storage and software products. He also set up Sun’s Storage division in India. Vishwa’s interests are in the areas of Strategy and Marketing. Vishwa interned as an internal consultant in IBM where he helped Marketing and sales organizations set their strategic direction by gathering market insights. Vishwa loved what he was doing and will be going back full time.

 

Subramaniyam "Subu" Narayanan – VP of External Affairs

Subu completed his Bachelors of Electrical Engineering at the University of Mumbai before joining Siemens Ltd. in a sales and marketing role. He led high stakes negotiations for Siemens power transmission products across a wide variety of industries, including steel, cement, textile, auto, and oil &gas . In addition, Subu is an Indian classical vocalist and percussionist and has performed over a hundred concerts across the world. He is a Government of India music scholar and has over 22 years of experience in classical music. At Tepper, he is involved through GBA and SABA and spearheaded the 2008 International Festival. Subu interned with Amazon.com over the summer and will be joining McKinsey & Company at their Pittsburgh office after his MBA.

 
 Jainik-Shah

Jainik Shah – VP of Operations

Jainik earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, and MS in Mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Tepper, he worked at the Ford Motor Company as a Product Development Engineer and in the Project Management Team for six years. He is a James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellow and recipient of merit scholarship. During the summer 2008, Jainik joined Deloitte Consulting as a Summer Associate in their Strategy & Operations group in Dallas, Texas. He plans to return to Deloitte and enjoy his winters in Dallas with his wife Toral.

 

Suraj Sharma – VP of Education & Development

Suraj graduated from National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India with a B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to joining Tepper, He worked for six years with IBM on many research and consulting assignments with IBM Research Labs and IBM Business Consulting Services. He is committed towards making Tepper an even stronger brand in consulting by providing the best career development and case practice opportunities for the students. During the summer, he interned at the Pittsburgh office of McKinsey & Company and worked in Retail and Automotive practices of the firm.

 

Andrew Williams – Flextime Class Representative

Andrew holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. Before coming to Tepper, Andrew worked as a research assistant studying Network Security for the Center for Cyber Security at Carnegie Mellon as well as an Intelligence Analyst for the Department of Homeland Security. After graduating Tepper, Andrew will be joining A.T. Kearney in Dallas.
