The Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVC) at the Tepper School of Business is a student run organization dedicated to building an environment at Carnegie Mellon University that creates and cultivates new business ventures. Our goal is to augment the Tepper academic experience by creating entrepreneurial and venture capital opportunities for students.
We offer a variety of programs, including competitions, learning bootcamps, guest speakers, venture capital "treks", and many other collaborative events with the growing Pittsburgh venture and start-up company community.
The EVC recognizes that entrepreneurship is a team sport. Therefore, we aim to maximize collaboration within Tepper and throughout Carnegie Mellon. In particular, the EVC works in close partnership with the Don Jones Center for Entrepreneurship and the James R. Swartz Fellows.
