Brian Lappin - President

Brian

Brian is a first-year MBA student concentrating on Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to Tepper, Brian spent 8 years in San Francisco where he helped to grow a web software start-up, Atomz (now part of Omniture). He has extensive international business experience, having worked with international development firm DPK Consulting and two years in Australia working as a consultant with Sapient. Brian holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania .

Chris Bell - VP, Apprenticeship

Chris

Chris holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to Tepper, he was a Senior Sales Representative for the Gordon Flesch Company, before which he was a member of the Information Management Leadership Program at GE Healthcare. As the VP of Apprenticeship, Chris will be working to further the EVC club's partnership with Blue Tree Allied Angels. This will provide opportunities for Tepper students to learn about Venture Capital firsthand by attending Blue Tree screening meetings and helping with due diligence on target companies. Chris will also be coordinating the annual EVC trek to Silicon Valley, providing students the opportunity to meet larger Venture Capitalists in a more active market. Chris spent his summer at Bain & Co in their Boston office.

Pamela Bush - VP, Competitions

Pam

Before coming to Tepper, Pamela worked at the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse (PLSG) for five years; her last role was as Director of Investment Programs. At the PLSG, she oversaw the early- stage investment proposal process and served in the investment committee. Before the PLSG, she worked as a consultant at LauncCyte, an early technology idea incubator, where she conducted market research and evaluated life sciences technologies for investment decision. Pamela holds a Ph.D from Carnegie Mellon University in Molecular Biology and Genetics and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida.

Lillian Maceachern - VP, Finance

Lilly

Lillian MacEachern is originally from Los Angeles, CA. After completing her bachelor's degree in American Studies (health policy) at UC Berkeley, she moved to Washington D.C. There, she worked in health policy and served in leadership capacities on several city commissions and nonprofit boards. At Tepper, she is a Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellow and is focusing on finance and accounting. She is actively incolved with several clubs and holds leadership positions in Tepper Women in Business, Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club, and the Organizational Leadership Club. This summer, Lilly will join the investment banking division of Wachovia Securities.

Jeff Mullen - VP, Strategic Planning

Jeff Mullen attended Carnegie Mellon for Electrical & Computer Engineering between 1997 and 2000. Upon graduating, Jeff started working as a patent agent for the law firm of Fish & Neave. Jeff attended law school at night and ultimately became a patent attorney. In January 2005, Fish & Neave merged with Ropes & Gray. Jeff came to the Tepper School of Business in order to launch a startup company.

 Ritika Rai - VP, Marketing

Ritika

Ritika Rai is originally from Chennai, India. After completing her bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, she moved back to India. There, she worked at the RKKR Group in their Steel division as the Director of Sales. Ritika also founded a non-profit organization "Saving Paws Trust" that is involved in helping and protecting street animals in India. She is currently involved in other organizations at Tepper and also holds a leadership position in Tepper Women in Business.

Beth Schoderbek - VP, Communications

Beth

Beth Schoderbek was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and has worked at the University of Pittsburgh medical Center for the past 5 years as a Project Coordinator. She is currently part of the Flex - Time Class of 2010 and she is interested in getting the Flex-timers more involved in club activities. Beth plans to pursue the entrepreneurship track among other interests.

Adam Stout - VP, Campus Collaboration

Adam

After earning a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Adam took a position in the Research and Development Division of the data warehousing company, Teradata. While initially focused on developing new toold for testing software, he quickly transitioned to leading an internal data mining project focused on better leveraging data about the R&D process to create improvements on the process. After spending seven years with Teradata, Adam chose to leave the company in pursuit of an MBA. Adam is currently in the Technology Leadership Track at Tepper in preparation of returning to the software industry upon graduation.
