Brad Carpenter - President

Brad Carpenter graduated from Bucknell University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Prior to coming to Tepper, Brad spent four years in the airlines, serving both as a pilot and manager/instructor for the Canadair Regional Jet. His interests in finance and quantitative analysis were two main reasons for returning for his MBA at the Tepper School of Business. This summer, Brad will be interning for State Street Global Markets in Boston.

Neal Rajdev - Executive Vice President

Neal Rajdev holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Upon graduation, he started a food service business in a tourist district of Houston, Texas. Neal later spent 2 years in industry before working his way up to Engagement Manager of a Strategy and Operations advisory firm, born out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Neal is pursuing Finance and Accounting at Tepper, and will be joining the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse in the San Francisco office.

Doug Leonhardt - Treasurer

Doug Leonhardt graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in mathematics. After graduation, Doug joined Hewitt Associates in Atlanta and worked in several different roles involving pension plans, actuarial science, and technology project management. At Hewitt, Doug was the leader of a quantitative software development group consisting of programmers and quality assurance analysts focused on automating pension calculations and retirement modeling, earning the Hewitt Associates National Manager Effectiveness Recognition Program Award in 2005. Doug is currently pursuing the dual MBA/MSCF degree. This summer, Doug will intern at Standish, the fixed income specialty boutique of BNY Mellon Asset Management. Doug enjoys following North Carolina basketball and Atlanta Braves baseball.

 Jose Espino

Jose Espino – VP Technology

Jose Espino holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. After graduation, he joined Ericsson, Inc. as a software engineer and worked in several roles including software tester at the Stockholm research facility. Jose’s work experience also includes experience at two start-ups including True.com, where he served as Lead Software Architect before joining Tepper. Jose is pursuing concentrations in Finance and Accounting as well as the Global Enterprise Management (GEM) track. He interned as a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs Investment Banking franchise this summer.

Maria Guzman – VP Corporate Finance

Maria Guzman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating, Maria spent six years at AT&T where she participated in the Leadership Development Program in various capacities, including forecasting and analysis for new IP product launches. Maria is pursuing concentrations in Finance and Accounting at Tepper. She is also a board member of the Latin American Business Club, an active member of both Tepper Women in Business and Wine Club, and a volunteer with the admissions office. She will be spending the summer as a Finance intern at Frito Lay, a division of PepsiCo, in Dallas, TX.

Rahul Saxena – VP Investment Banking

Rahul Saxena holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, he joined a technology company called Radiant Systems in Atlanta. Over the next five years, he worked in different capacities – Product Engineer for their Back-Office Systems, Project Lead for their European Petroleum Industry segment and lastly as the Product Manager for their Retail Solutions Group. Rahul is pursuing the Global Enterprise Management (GEM) track and concentrations in Finance and Accounting at Tepper. This summer, he will be interning with Citi Investment Banking in New York.

Andrew Schlussel – VP Internal

Andrew Schlussel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from the R.H Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Prior to coming to Tepper he worked in the Wealth Management Division of UBS Financial Services. In addition to his duties for the GFA, Andrew is a portfolio manager for the Tepper Opportunity Fund, and is a level III candidate in the CFA program. This summer he will be interning in the Investment Banking Healthcare Group of Cowen & Company in New York.

 
 Brad Burke

Brad Burke – VP Alumni Relations

Brad Burke was a certified public accountant in the Pittsburgh office of Ernst & Young for four years, prior to joining Tepper. He enjoyed my experience in public accounting, but always wanted to pursue a career that was more actively involved in the financial markets. Brad chose to attend Tepper because of their outstanding quantitative education, and their strong finance reputation. His interest in finance and the markets, combined with his ability to build strong relationships made Brad a natural fit for sales, in sales & trading. He will be interning at Merrill Lynch for the summer.

 Dan Jester

Daniel Jester – VP Asset Management

Daniel Jester holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of the Rochester. Prior to coming to Tepper he was a U.S. Economist at Moody’s Economy.com, providing original research and market commentary on high-frequency G-7 economic data, interest rates and commodities to a wide range of institutional clients. In addition to his duties in the Graduate Finance Association, he is the Vice President of the Alpha Asset Management Club and the Lead Portfolio Manager of the Tepper Opportunity Fund. This summer he will be interning at Deutsche Asset Management in New York.

 Yusra Bham

Yusra Bham – VP Events

Yusra Bham worked in the Entertainment and Media industry prior to joining Tepper. She has over five years of experience in Strategic Finance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Consulting and a Minor in Economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Yusra is pursuing concentrations in Finance, Economics and Strategy. In addition to these concentrations, she is a Swartz Fellow and enrolled in the Entrepreneurship Track. Yusra will be joining Deutsche Bank this summer in their Asset Management division.

 Andy Hicks

Andy Hicks – VP Sales and Trading

Andy Hicks spent over five years in markets and alternative investments prior to joining Tepper. He began his career in the pits of The Chicago Board of Trade. His experience includes open-outcry trading of futures and options in interest rate and grain contracts - including ten-year notes and soy crush spreads. As a screen trader, he has experience in trading and managing customer accounts. Since leaving the CBOT, he has advised fund groups and others on the CTA business. Andy holds a B.S. magna cum laude in finance from The University of Denver.
