Board Member Bios

Sindhoor Grandhi, President

Sindhoor graduated with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology in India. Prior to joining Tepper, he worked for six years at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. At Tepper, Sindhoor is pursuing Strategy, Marketing and Operations. This summer, he will be interning with Amazon as a Business Manager intern in Seattle.

Erik Goelz, VP of Marketing and Outreach

Erik Goelz is the Vice President of Marketing and Outreach of the South Asian Business Association. Erik graduated from Temple University with a degree in Marketing and International Business and, prior to joining the Tepper School of Business, worked as a Project Lead at the boutique growth strategy consulting firm Vanguard Marketing International. This summer, Erik is looking forward to working at Microsoft in their Marketing & Operations group. In his free time, Erik enjoys trying different cuisines from around the world, learning about innovation and technology, and spending time with his wife and dog.

Poornima Devaraj, VP of Student Relations

Poornima Devaraj is the Vice President of Student Relations of the South Asian Business Association. She graduated from Visvesvaraya Technological University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology. Poornima has six years of experience in Product Management and Consulting in enterprise systems and eCommerce. Prior to Tepper, she worked at Target as a Business Analyst in the Supply chain and Technology Services division. At Tepper, Poornima is pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Strategy and Marketing.

Zohaib Mahmood, VP of Social and Cultural Affairs

Zohaib is the Vice President of Social and Cultural Affairs of the South Asian Business Association. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Zohaib has five years of experience in consulting and has worked with clients in Retail, Energy and Healthcare industries. Before coming to Tepper, Zohaib worked as a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. At the Tepper School of Business, he is concentrating in Strategy, Marketing and Operations. This summer, Zohaib is interning with Amazon in the Retail Leadership Development program.

Kamal Chandwani, VP of Alumni and Corporate Relations

Kamal is the Vice President of Alumni and Corporate Relations for the South Asian Business Association. Prior to Tepper, he worked in a product strategy role with diverse firms in the Computer Hardware industry. He is interested in Corporate Strategy and Product Management after MBA. He did his undergrad in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
