Professor Sunder Kekre

OFFICERS

President: Nikhil Ambale

Nikhil is a graduate of Computer Science from BITS-Pilani, India. Prior to Tepper, he designed supply chain and enterprise software systems in East Asia and the US. At Tepper, he is pursuing concentrations in Finance and Economics.  When he is not glued to his notebook, he is traveling with his wife or clicking pictures of the countryside. Nikhil is actively involved with 'Crossing the Digital Divide', an LA-based non-profit organization. He loves India and anything Indian - the culture, the lingo, the food, and the business. He is heading to Cleveland to intern with an investment bank over the summer.
 

VP- Finance & Membership: Deepthi Kapila

Deepthi is a full-time MBA student at the Tepper School of Business. Deepthi graduated with distinction from Osmania University in 2003 with a bachelor's in electronics and communications engineering. She displayed her leadership abilities from a young age by holding positions such as the School President and General Secretary of the student chapter of the Indian Society of Technical Education at Vasavi College of Engineering. Deepthi joined TATA Consultancy Services in 2003 and started her career as a developer. During her stint in the UK from 2004 to 2007, Deepthi successfully incubated, developed and delivered key IT projects for her clients specializing in providing change management solutions. Deepthi also participates actively in corporate social activities raising funds for voluntary organizations like BIBIC and CRY. In her free time, Deepthi enjoys cooking and partaking in adventure sports. This summer, Deepthi will be working as a Product Manager Intern for Microsoft.

 

VP- Marketing & Technology: Rashmi Gowda

Rashmi completed her Bachelors of Engineering in Information Technology, at PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore, India. She worked for Tata Consultancy Services for three years, leading teams to develop web based applications for a large US-based financial services firm. She is pursuing concentrations in Marketing, Finance and Strategy at Tepper. She is also actively involved in the student community at Tepper- from working for the Admissions Office to writing for the Robber Barons every week. She also hopes to start a 'Dance Club' at Tepper, following the interest in the community after the phenomenal success of the International Festival (2008). This summer, she will be at Keystone Automotive Operations, a portfolio company of Bain Capital, as an Analytical Marketing Intern.

VP - Events & Operations: Shrutee Sharma

Shrutee is an economist by profession and an entrepreneur at heart. After founding a primary school and growing it to a senior secondary institution over a period of 5 years, she worked as an Energy Sector Analyst for an infrastructure research company. She fell for Tepper and its strong community from the day she visited. In addition to the South Asian Business Association, she is very engaged in the Marketing Club and is also a Forte Fellow. This summer, she will be in Seattle with Amazon as a Senior Financial Analyst. She simply loves this place and the people!
 

VP - India Business Series & Mentorship: Subramaniam Narayanan (Subu)

Subu completed his Bachelors of Electrical Engineering at the University of Mumbai before joining Siemens, Ltd. in a sales and marketing role. He worked across a wide variety of industries, including steel, cement, textile, auto, oil, and gas, marketing high end electrical solutions to clients. In addition, Subu is a professional Indian classical vocalist and percussionist and has performed widely across the world. At Tepper, he is involved through GBA, SABA and Admissions and spearheaded the 2008 International Festival. Subu will be spending his summer at Amazon.com as a Senior Financial Analyst.

 

VP - India Trip & Alumni: Sujit Naik

Sujit graduated with BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and has been in various leadership positions in professional and personal life. As a manager in the semiconductor industry, he led product and process development teams for Micron and Intel over eight years. As an AID (Association for India's Development) chapter coordinator, Sujit was involved in the nonprofit sector working with NGOs on development projects in rural India. He is pursuing concentrations in Strategy, Marketing and Finance. At Tepper, he is involved in various activities through the Consulting Club, GBA Community Outreach Committee, Pro-bono Consulting program to name a few. This summer, Sujit will be working as a Business Strategy intern at Plextronics, a fast-growing leader in printed electronics technology.
