Tepper Partners Club

You and your partner are going to be part of a very challenging program. It will be a fun and exciting time for both of you. Not only will many opportunities arise for the student, but many strong and lasting friendships will develop for the partner as well.

Tepper Partners is open to any spouse, partner or significant other of a student who is enrolled full or part-time in the MBA or MSCF programs. We recognize that just because you are not in the classroom, it doesn't mean your time at Carnegie Mellon won't be challenging too. Tepper Partners serves as a networking venue, giving you access to people who are already settled in the Pittsburgh area; a support group, helping you find child-care or general information; and a social circle, providing familiar faces at Carnegie Mellon events.

Throughout the year we meet several times for fun and support. Some events in the past have included Potluck Dinner, Children’s Holiday Party and the Annual Cookie Swap. To further meet new people, the Tepper Partner Association has also started various clubs. We have Dinner Club, Book Club, and Cosmos & Classics just to name a few.   To keep all the clubs, parties and information in one place, we have a Yahoo! Group site where we maintain a group calendar, a database of members, useful links in the Pittsburgh Area, and message posts to everyone.

If you have any questions regarding the partner association or Pittsburgh, please contact MBA Admissions at (412) 268-2272 where they will put you in touch with a Partner. Additionally, feel free to contact the Partner Association Co-Chairs:

We also encourage you to follow our Tepper Partner Blogs to follow the Tepper experience from four partner perspectives.

Partner Quotes

'The CMU Partners Club has been an incredible support system. The partners and spouses from different ethnic and professional backgrounds make the club not only diverse but dynamic and interesting. With everyone sharing the diversity of their cultures, interests, hobbies, and not to forget the mouth watering food, it is a perpetual learning experience. Celebrating different festivals together, dining out, playing games, watching movies, advice on so many aspects of living in Pittsburgh, the list is just never ending. We guys are having the time of our life here. We feel connected and cared for. We shall all miss these fabulous days we are enjoying here but would take the beautiful memories to cherish and life-long friendships with us.'
