The Volleyball Club provides students an avenue to take a break from class and stay active by playing a team sport that is both fun and easy to learn. We welcome players of all skill levels, ranging from former student athletes and professionals to those who have always wanted to play but never have.
Currently, we practice every Monday evening in Skibo Gym, right across the street from Posner Hall. Weekly practice allows members to build fundamental Volleyball skills as well as fine-tune advanced techniques. The Volleyball Club has always maintained leadership with both playing and coaching experience on competitive levels. We are committed to the mantra, “anyone can play volleyball and have fun.”
The Volleyball Club does participate in both intramurals within Carnegie Mellon as well as tournaments at other business schools around the US, in both the fall and spring. These events present a great opportunity to foster friendly competition as well as increase your network within your class, in other CMU departments, and at other business schools.
Practice Hours are currently Wednesdays 9 pm to 11 pm at Skibo Main Gym, which is located across the street from Tepper. Practice hours are subject to change per mini.
Tepper Volleyball Club has no dues. Just attend with gym clothes, shoes, and have fun. All other equipment is provided.
