The Tepper school has gone with Google as its email provider. Google offers many advantages over the traditional campus email system such as an email address with Tepper in the name ( and the ability to keep your email address after you graduate. 1. Visit and log in with andrewyour andrew id and your password. (ie: andrewJoDoe)
  2. Click on the Google Apps link. Make a note of your initial password and click the “Proceed to login” link.
  3. Change your password and then log into Google using your Andrew ID as Username and the password you just created.
  4. Enable IMAP support inside Tepper/Google mail. Click on Settings in Tepper/Google mail and then go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. Select Enable IMAP. Click on Change/Save at the bottom of the screen to accept the change.

Part 2

Campus Email Settings (Andrew email)
If you would prefer to not use Google for your email, you can use the Andrew email system (only while you are an active student). Below are the settings for setting up Andrew email.

Andrew email settings:
  • IMAP Server (Incoming):

Also, server port numbers may need to be changed. In Outlook, this is found under the More Settings button when your looking at your Email Account settings. This will be found in different places in different programs, usually under advance settings.
  • Incoming Server (IMAP) Number: 993
