Data resources available to the Tepper community consist of licensed access to individual datasets and software packages, as well as access to Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS). WRDS is not data. It is a web-based front end that allows easy access to data. See below for further details.
Data.
WRDS
Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) . WRDS is a web-based data retrieval service that allows users easy access to several business and economics datasets that Tepper subscribes to independently of WRDS. WRDS also provides access to a number of publicly available datasets. Tepper's access is for a strict subset of the universe of WRDS-accessible data. To see what we subscribe to, and what we don't, login to WRDS and see the list on the left-side of the home page.

Complete List of CMU Databases
The CMU library provides access to an extensive set of business and economics data. This goes far beyond search/access facilities like LexisNexis, etc. For example, in 2008 the library acquired VentureXpert, a Thomson/Reuters dataset on venture capital and private equity.
Software
CMU provides the campus community with an extensive set of software, much of which is of direct interest to the business school community (e.g., Matlab, Mathematica, etc.). Tepper also supports some software on its own. Please contact the Tepper computing group ((412) 268-5881, gsiaucon@andrew.cmu.edu)) for more information.
