Pittsburgh Campus

Carnegie Mellon University is a private, co-educational, four-year school that grants bachelor's master's and doctor's degrees. Located on a 103-acre main campus with outlying research buildings, its scenic location is just five miles east of downtown Pittsburgh. It's adjacent to three culturally active neighborhoods and the third largest urban, landscaped park in the East.

Carnegie boasts a diverse student body with students from across all 50 states and from 41 foreign countries. International students are quick to find acceptance, both on campus and around the culturally varied city.

Students can keep in touch with campus life through the Student Life Office to find out what's happening on campus and beyond. Getting involved can be as simple as meeting with classmates at SKIBO, the on-campus coffeehouse or going to watch a football game or other athletic events.
