Laurie Stewart is responsible for all aspects of admissions and scholarships for the MBA and MSCF Programs, an expanding role she has held since 1994. Previously, Laurie served as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at the business school. Before returning to Carnegie Mellon as a staff member in 1991, she was Director of Engineering Services for Valeo Engine Cooling, NA and spent several years in various engineering capacities at General Motors. Laurie earned a B.M.E. from General Motors Institute in 1981, and an M.S.I.A. Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 1987. |

Carol Basciotta joined the Maters Admissions Office in 2005. She has been with Carnegie Mellon since 1988, having worked in the Bookstore as the Assistant General Book Buyer. Carol's responsibilities include greeting all visitors to the Admissions Department and scheduling all visits to campus as well as admissions interviews. |

Devin Bownes joined the Master Admissions team in June of 2009 as the Graduate Assistant. In her role as the Graduate Assistant, Devin supports all aspects of the Admissions process. Devin graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Sociology. She is currently working toward her Masters in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. |

Krystal Brooks joined the Masters Admissions Team in June 2005. In her role as assistant director, Krystal is the lead admissions team member for the FlexMode MBA program, women's recruitment initatives, and the Forté Foundation. She is happy to help all candidates as they move throughout their MBA application process. Krystal holds a dual BA in Finance and Music from Lycoming College and MA in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Krystal still enjoys music and is a member of the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh. |

Lauren Capone joined the Masters Admissions Team in September of 2006. In her role as Assistant Director, she works with prospective MBA and MSCF applicants throughout the recruitment and admissions processes. Lauren is also the lead admissions team member for the 3/2 MBA program at CMU and all dual & joint degree programs supported by the Tepper School. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Psychology minor from Washington and Jefferson College. She also holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from John Carroll University where she previously worked in Admissions for The Graduate School at JCU. Lauren is a sports fan who especially loves football and hockey. She is also a movie buff, a voracious reader and an avid runner. |
| Annie Dolan joined the Admissions team in July of 2007. In her role as an assistant director, Annie works with interested MBA and MSCF prospective students throughout the application process. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lycoming College and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. |

James Frick joined the Tepper Admissions team as an Associate Director in 2003. James assists in all phases of the admissions process, and also takes lead roles in communications and web and database initiatives. James has worked at the Tepper School since 1998. Before joining the Admissions team, he served as the Associate Director of MBA programs. He holds a BA from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from Radford University, and is currently (ever so slowly) pursuing his doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a diehard Steeler fan and welcomes advice on training overly-active dogs. |

Linwood N Harris, Jr. has been working in higher education for over 15 years assisting students and families’ college/university admission, financial aid, and retention. As a motivational speaker, tutor, advisor, conference facilitator, family leader and activist, Linwood believes that the work he does will help foster a lucid understanding of a complex and challenging university selection process. He is the lead admissions team member for FlexTime MBA program, student diversity initiatives, and Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. Linwood is an avid sportsman, enjoys travel, and loves all Pittsburgh sports teams. |

Dana Lovas joined the admissions team in 1987. She has held a variety of positions over the years and her current responsibilities include processing and tracking applications through each stage of the process and providing information to our applicants. Dana is also responsible for the coordination of foreign student I-20’s by processing the pertinent forms and working with the Office of International Education to ensure that our foreign students receive their I-20’s in a timely fashion. Dana's experience in admissions makes her a valuable asset to our office and to our applicants. She is able to answer most questions you may have regarding the application process |
| Alesha Lynn joined the Masters Admissions Team in September of 2006. Alesha is responsible for processing and tracking MSCF applications through each stage of the process, providing information to our applicants, and scheduling interviews and visits for the Computational Finance Program. She also processes the Consortium applications and helps with the MBA process as needed. |

Dolores joined the Masters Admission Office staff in October, 2008 as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of Masters Admissions. Prior to her assignment in Masters Admissions, Dolores worked in the Department of Engineering and Public Policy for the past five years. Dolores assists the director with everyday duties, plans travel, executes purchasing/accounting functions, processes applications during high volume times, takes care of logistical duties for the department, coordinates publications and mailings. Dolores holds a degree in Marketing and Secretarial Science from Robert Morris University. Dolores and her husband John live in the Penn Hills/Verona area. |

Gwen Stanczak joined the Masters Admissions team in June 2003. Gwen has been with Carnegie Mellon University since 2000, having held positions in Enrollment Services as well as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Programs in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Gwen holds a dual BA in Psychology and Spanish from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Public Management from Carnegie Mellon. Gwen is available to discuss all aspects of the application process with prospective MSCF students and to assist admitted students in the transition into the MSCF. She is an avid reader and enjoys cooking all types of cuisine. |
