Don Moore Wins Prestigious Cummings Scholar Award

Prof. Don Moore, the Carnegie Bosch Faculty Development Chair and Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior & Theory, will receive the 2007 Cummings Scholar Award at the annual meeting of the Academy of Management, in August, held this year in Philadelphia.

The award, given by the Organizational Behavior division of the Academy of Management, recognizes significant scholarly achievement of an early- to mid-career scholar, no more than seven years post-PhD.

Also, Moore's paper, "Bayesian Overconfidence," accepted for presentation at the conference, was judged among the best papers in the program. It will be published in the Best Papers Proceedings of the 2007 Academy of Management meeting.
