Where I Live

Shadyside - I live in an apartment with my wife and my pet chihuahua named Shelby. Our kitchen is small but we like it. We found our place on craigslist. Having a dog makes finding a place close to the hot spots in Shadyside more difficult than it would otherwise be.
 

Best Off-Campus Activity

Going to the Strip District. The Strip District is an area that can best be described as an open air market with fantastic shops and food. They have the best cheeses, meats, even their homemade tortillas are fantastic. They are so good that when I leave Pittsburgh I plan on ordering some of these items and having them delivered.
 

Best Way to Exercise

I'm a runner so I've run my way pretty much everywhere in Pittsburgh. My favorite place to run is on the Eliza trail. This trail is also known as the jail trail because it goes past the city jail. I then cross the river on the smithfield bridge, run through station square and back up the river and then end with a beer at Hofbrahaus.
 

My Recommendation

Places I've enjoyed are quite long but here's my list.

  • Pirates game at PNC
  • Steelers or Panthers game at Heinz
  • National Aviary
  • Incline
